Cincinnati is a terrific city to visit and there is lots to do. Here are some tips on things to see and do. Bringing a sibling or spouse who is looking for some non-feis activities? We've got you covered! You can find basic information on how to get to the feis, where to park, and where to eat on other pages on our site. If you feel like getting over to any of the Kentucky activities, look for the Southbank Shuttle , a $1 bus that will get you over the river. Activities & AttractionsThe CincinnatiUSA site (Chamber of Commerce) also can be searched for attractions and events, including events for kids. Downtown Cincinnati Inc. has a list of local cultural attractions , and includes popular sites across the river in Northern Kentucky. Some recommendations: BB Riverboats (paddlewheel down the Ohio) across the river at Newport, Kentucky. Cincinnati Art Museum (free but need to drive) and Taft Art Museum (not free but may be able to walk). Cincinnati Museum Center : truly something for all ages in either the Natural History, Cincinnati History or Children's Museums. Lots of hands-on, from full size paddle wheel to climbing area to walk-through glacier. Offers reciprocal admissions - check your local science museum membership . Across the highway from the Convention Center. Cincinnati Railroad (a.k.a. Lebanon, Mason & Monroe Railroad, based in Lebanon, Ohio, about 45 minutes north) has the Little Engine that Could special train event on May 10th and 11th. Eden Park's Krohn Conservatory includes Palm, Tropical, Desert and Orchid house, and over 3,500 plant species. Newport Aquarium at Newport on the Levee.
